Combining chewy glass noodles with savory-sweet bulgogi, Japchae balances each ingredient’s flavor perfectly, with the noodles absorbing just the right amount of seasoning. Ingredients:
- Bulgogi (250g) – Kevin’s Choice Bulgogi
- Wood ear mushrooms (70g)
- Carrot (½, thinly sliced)
- Onion (½, thinly sliced)
- Spinach (1 cup, blanched for 1 minute)
Sauce Ingredients (Mix together):
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles: Boil sweet potato starch noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Mix Sauce Ingredients
- Cook bulgogi: Stir-fry 250g of bulgogi until browned. Set aside.
- Sauté vegetables: In the same pan, sauté wood ear mushrooms, carrots, and onions. Season with a pinch of salt. Add blanched spinach and cook briefly.
- Combine: Add the noodles, cooked bulgogi, and the sauce to the pan. Toss everything together until well mixed.
